Ace Auto Parts Donates Space For Community Outreach Program
ST. PAUL, MN - Don and Rob Kloek, the father and son owners of Ace Auto Parts, have donated the use of their secondary building to the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office. The building will be used as a community outreach office on the North End of St. Paul.
Ace Auto Parts had previously used the office as one of the lots where they sold used vehicles. However, after being asked by the Ramsey County Sheriff, Bob Fletcher, if they could use the space to start their outreach program, the Kloeks decided to offer up the space free of charge.
The 576-square foot building had previously been a Dairy Queen before being purchased by Ace Auto Parts in 2009. While they will still sell some vehicles in the building’s lot, they are allowing the sheriff’s department to use the office space at no charge.
The sheriff’s office has purchased six electric bikes they will store at the building. The officers will use the bikes to patrol the county to present a visible, approachable presence to the community.
